Omaha Beach is close to the historic country town of Warkworth and located along the Matakana Valley. This is a fabulous New Zealand holiday area complete with vine yards, up-market cafes, pubs plus amazing art galleries and ceramic/craft/sculpture centres. The new holiday centre at Matakana village boasts a state of the art cinema, boutique shops, ice cream, bars, a traditional New Zealand pub and an up-market tea shop. Further along the peninsular is one of Auckland’s crown jewels - the Tawharanui Regional Park which has more amazing beaches, sea caves, walks, Gulf views and a protected area for New Zealand’s unique bird and animal life. A few minutes drive northeast is the village of Leigh (more cafes and a great fish and chip shop in a classic New Zealand village fishing harbour). Just five minutes further is Goat Island marine sanctuary where families can dive and snorkel to see all manner of sea-life from New Zealand kina to giant rays. Due to high demand the house is generally rented in 7 day blocks through the high season. Off season the minimum rental period is 2 or 4 nights. However we are happy to be as flexible as possible so please email us your requirements. Restriction: Absolutely no smoking inside the house.. Linen and cleaning OUR HIGH QUALITY LINEN AND CLEANING POLICY We fully understand that you want your holiday home to be as perfect as possible when you arrive. To achieve this for your party, and for the party that follows, we have developed this policy in discussion with previous guests and consideration of industry guidelines. We always provide a ‘Linen and Cleaning’ service for stays of four nights or more. This includes: house preparation; bed, bathroom and kitchen linen; cleaning and rubbish removal. This service ensures your holiday home meets our high standards when you arrive. If you book for three nights or less, your stay will automatically be a ‘Bring Your Own Linen and Self Clean’ booking and this will, of course, be less expensive. This often suits guests who book weekend or long weekend stays. However it means you must ensure the holiday home meets our high standards at the end of your stay. A thorough check is made after your party’s departure to ensure the party after you are also delighted with the house when they arrive. If our cleaner finds the house is not up to our high standard they will attempt to rectify the situation quickly and efficiently. However if the deficiency cannot be quickly remedied, they will carry out remedial house preparation, cleaning and rubbish removal. We reserve the right to pass on the cleaner’s charge to the person responsible for the booking. Of course we are very happy to offer the ‘Linen and Cleaning’ service at a competitive price. This may suit you if you prefer not to worry about the chores at the end of your shorter stay. Please enquire with your initial ‘three night or less’ booking request. We trust this policy meets with your approval. If you have any concerns please let us know. We are always happy to consider improvements that will benefit our guests.

Enjoy our fabulous holiday home at one of beautiful New Zealand’s exclusive beaches, only a short stroll through the garden and reserve.
The garden/family room has wide opening sliders to the two separate outdoor entertaining areas. The garden has a large patio and is planted with carefully chosen native New Zealand plants. The house is designed to allow your family, or family and friends, to enjoy the warmth of each other's company, or to enjoy their own privacy as desired. This is the perfect place to become refreshed and reinvigorated on a short break away, or enjoy discovering New Zealand's Northland and Auckland on a longer visit.
Omaha Beach is never crowded, even at the height of summer. The surf lifesaving club is 200m along the beach and is patrolled by New Zealand’s famous 
At the south end of the beach are rock pools and rock fishing. At the north end is a channel through to a boat anchorage and all-tide boat ramp. The sheltered water here is fantastic for water skiing, wind/kite-surfing, kid’s dinghies and simply splashing around. There is superb fishing on the coast and, by boat, Little Barrier Island provides stunning fishing and exhilarating scenery.

Sleeping quarters consist of two quality queen sized beds, two bunk beds plus one single bed. An infant’s american sized cot is located in a room used as a large walk-in wardrobe/nursery adjacent to the master bedroom. There is also a high chair. In keeping with the beach house design there is an open plan family room, kitchen, lounge. The laundry is complete with a modern automatic washing machine and dryer.
